Pitches, Staff and Senior Staff.
Hello there (in Obi-Wan's voice).
Not much to say today, but I do have important announcements below. Please go through them carefully as it has important information about becoming a staff and senior staff photographer.
Announcements
Every year, we hold general meeting to select new staff members. If you were previously a staff photographer, you are required to attend the general meeting on Fridays and re-elect yourself. If you are interested in becoming a senior staff photographer (you will be paid for your work but will also have to fulfill certain commitments)or have held this position before, please reach out to me during my office hours or email me to schedule a meeting.
Our next Photo Section meeting is on 7th October from 2-3 pm where I’ll give a brief on staff and senior staff positions. If weather allows, we might head out for a photowalk to practice the basics of photography we learned in the previous meeting.
My office hours for this term will be on Mondays from 12-2 p.m. and on Fridays from 11-1 p.m. If you have any questions regarding the photo section, feel free to reach out!
Location: Nest 2208Every Friday at 4 pm, we will have our general meeting at The Ubyssey. Drop by if you want to learn more about us and how to get involved in the newspaper!
