The rise of photo issue

this will be a fun ride

Hello there, (in Obi-Wan’s voice)

Apologies for interrupting on reading break. I hope you are all enjoying it and taking the time to refresh yourselves before finals. For those of you who are busy with readings and writing research papers, I sympathise with you. Currently, I am lying in bed, sick, and working on an economics research paper that is beyond my scope. But, as they say, you gotta do what you gotta do.

The photo issue is upon us, and I’m very excited! In the announcements and below, I have hyperlinked the document containing all the information regarding our photo issue for this year. Please take a look!

Announcements!

  • The photo issue is approaching us soon, and I am looking for contributors to collaborate with me on this project. I have 3 specific photographers and photojournalists in the list whom I would like to interview. Please choose one and email me the name of the photographer you would like to work with. I am only looking for two contributors for each photographer! If you are interested in joining but are not selected initially, feel free to email me, and we can figure ways to get you involved in this project as well!

  • My office hours for this term will be on Mondays from 12-2 p.m. and on Fridays from 11-1 p.m. If you have any questions regarding the photo section, feel free to reach out!
    Location: Nest 2208

  • No general meeting this week!
